If they are too fast, you can place the cricket container into the fridge 5 minutes before you want to feed, it will slow the crickets down a bit. (Do not leave them in the fridge).Only feed enough crickets that will be eaten immediately. Sometimes, escaped crickets may make a home for themselves in your animals’ enclosure and may possibly damage lizard eggs or newly hatched birds during darkness. Some people prefer to have a separate smaller terrarium (e.g. Komodo Plastic Terrariums) to place their animals in when they feed crickets. This can make it easier, especially for babies or the elderly, to catch their crickets before they run away and hide.Cricket Care and Storage: Pisces Crickets should be provided with fresh Aquaload and Woodie & Cricket Food or Gutload every few days.
