Process Application – Proportioned Systems Proportioned Systems Soap Tank -Maximum ratios 16lts of water – 2lts of HouseWash and 2lts of Dragons Blood Colour fading and elimination is chemically activated by Sodium hypochlorite (SH). The requirements are that a 1% mix of SH is needed to activate the fading elimination of colour once hitting the surface. The higher the concentration of SH the shorter the colour dwell time before fading. On application of SH and Dragons Blood with HouseWash, once the dwell time has passed and the colour faded the surface is ready to rinse. DO NOT LET Dragons Blood dry on the surface without a 1% mix of SH. If this were to happen, a 1% to 3% mix would be reapplied to neutralise the remaining colour. PPE must be worn, as protective clothing, gloves, and a face shield When changing between different soap tanks, be sure to flush lines, to remove any residential colour. RECOMMENDED FIRST APPLICATION- CARRY OUT TEST – OPERATE ON LOWER CONCENTRATION- TO ALLOW OPERATORS COMPETENCY NOTE- Be aware of line flush and changing between chemicals and water- applying Bragons Blood during this time without SH will require again another application of SH to allow fade out.
