In 2022, Mongolia issued a proof version of their popular Mystic Wolf silver coin, and PCGS has certified it as being in perfect condition. Two different poses of a relaxed wolf are depicted on the back. The fur and facial features of the side profile view are struck in ultra high relief with incredible detail. It's as if you can sense the wolf sniffing around for something to eat. The wolf is shown on the obverse snarling at its intended meal. Amazing contrast is achieved by striking the wolf's teeth in ultra high relief and inlaying the spaces between them into the surface. The wolf's nose, indicated by the crooked effigy, adds yet another dimension of ultra high relief. An inconspicuous "2021" is embossed into the background's distinctive geometric pattern. In perfect PR70 condition, this First Day of Issue 2021 1 oz silver Mystic Wolf high relief coin was awarded by PCGS. This PR70 coin is one of only 165 in existence, according to PCGS.
